Le Shop

Located in a typical Savoyard wooden chalet, Skilove enjoys an ideal location in the heart of Les Gets resort. The shop, open in winter and summer, is a stone’s throw from the ESF [French Ski School] and the ski lifts, as well as being close to the shuttle bus stops. Opened in 1948 by Jean Berthet, former member of the French Ski Team, and his wife Yolande, Skilove was passed down from generation to generation. Monique, also on the national team, took over from her parents before the third generation took over in 2020, with her daughter Romy and her husband Freddy…who quickly developed the concept by completely renovating the shop, adding a bar/café area to keep the friendly and historic atmosphere of Skilove alive!

Drinking a good coffee before going on the slopes or enjoying a cold beer or a glass of wine in the après-ski, all around a charcuterie board… this is, for us, an essential part of a good day of skiing! Following the renovation of the shop in 2020, we wanted to create this friendly space for our customers with a small bar/café. The perfect place to have a drink, chat together or watch sporting events on our TV screens! In summer, a quiet, shaded terrace awaits you right in front of Skilove.
